2. Parathas :

                   Parathas or parota (in Tamilnadu)  is a tasty food being consumed. It is served with kurumas. Parathas are made with Maize flour.

Maize flour is mixed with sugar, salt and oil to get dough. Maize flour and oil gives all the fluffyness of dough.

Parathas are made in Tawa but are fried along with oil. After the fry Parathas will be crisp outside. Inner part will be soft.

These Parathas can be made very easily with roti maker. The same procedure has to be followed in roti maker also. It is our wish to use or not to use oil.

3. Stuffed Parathas :

                 Stuffing is a good method of feeding vegetables. Stuffing is made while rolling the dough into balls. Stuffing can be either fried vegetable curry or meat. Stuffed Parathas are tastier than normal ones. Stuffed Paratha balls are a little tough to flatten. But it is not a job at all with our roti maker.
               
4. Egg omelette :
                    Egg omelette is a dish liked by all. It is actually taken as a side dish for rice. Egg omelette is made by two processes.
Firstly beat eggs in a bowl with salt and pepper.
Secondly, shallow fry it in a pan.
 With roti maker egg omelette is an easy job. Beating the eggs and pouring on it will make omelette ready. We can even make a veggie omelette. Vegetables like onion, tomatoes, chilli can be added. Coriander and curry leaves can also be added for an appetitive smell. After frying one side of the omelette, turn upside down. This will evenly make fry on both the sides.
5. Fish fry :
                  This is a recipe for non -vegetarian people. Fish is a very good item for eyes. Fish is eaten by people throughout the world. Fishes are of different kinds and sizes. Fish fry is a very simple side dish.
Initially fish is mixed with chilli powder, curry leaves, salt and turmeric powder. If needed ginger garlic paste can be used.
Along with the mixture some water can be added. This mixture of fish is directly placed on the Roti maker. We may or may not add oil.
Then it needs to be turned. After 2 minutes it's all done.
6. Pappad fry:
                   Pappads or appalam(in tamil) is a tasty snack as well as a side dish. It is basically deep fried in Tawa. Pappads will expand and blooms on frying. This is also possible with our roti maker. Just place the pappad on the machine and press it with lid. Within seconds it will be crisp and ready. Main thing is that it is not made with oil.

7. Bread toast :
                  Bread is a eatable for breakfast. Bread can be toasted in Tawa. Butter is applied on b sides before toasting. In roti maker butter applied bread is placed. Then lid is pressed on it. Turn the other side and do the same. Bread toasts are ready for eating. Bread omelettes are also possible by adding egg beats to it.
8. Dosa :
                  Dosa is a south Indian food. For making a dosa, first it's batter has to be made. Dosa batter cannot be made on the spot.
Rice and urid (ullundhu) dhal has to be soaked in water for 8 to 10 hours. After that grinding has to be done.
Then on the next day it will be fluffy to use. This dosa batter is poured on the Roti maker pan.
After few seconds turn it over. Then leave it for some time. Dosa is ready.
9. Cutlette :
                 Cutlette is a famous snack item being taken. Cutlette serves as an extraordinary meal during an heavy appetite. The mixture for cutlette is made with following items
Vegetables like potatoes, green peas, beans, carrots (boiled)
crushed ginger
garlic
Green chili paste
red chili powder
cumin powder
garam masala powder
bread crumbs and
salt as required.
All the above are mixed with Maize flour to form a mixture. Check the mixture for salt and spices. Then place it on the plates of roti maker. After few seconds turn it. Within a minute the recipe is ready to eat.


10. Phulka:
                    Phulka is the other type of roti made with direct fire. It is a traditional punjabi dish. The same steps for Chappathi is followed here. But after flattening and placing it on plates, the handle lid has to be lightly kept on it. The dough will blow up to form phulka. Phulka will be very soft to have.
11. Vegetable rolls:
                  Vegetable rolls is a simple dish. It can be eaten along with sauce or chutney.
First the vegetables like onion, tomatoes, potatoes, beans, carrots, peas are taken.
They have to be fried with chilli powder, garam masala, salt and a little oil.
Then flat bread dough has to be made with wheat flour. It can also be done with Maize flour.
Finally the vegetable mixture is kept in flat bread and rolled. These rolls are cooked in roti maker.
The same procedures can be repeated with meat. Items like Chicken, mutton, pork, beef can be cooked as meat rolls
12. Prawn fry:
                 Prawn is an extraordinary sea food to eat. It is very healthy too. Prawns can be fried in roti maker.
Prawn masala has to be made first. It is done by mixing prawns, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, salt, pepper powder.
The mixture is placed on the Roti maker and oil is applied.
It is cooked for few minutes to make it ready.
13. Paneer masala fry :
                   Paneer is a good protein food. Paneer is a product of milk. Paneer can be cooked with roti maker.
Paneer and vegetables has to be mixed in a bowl. Some pepper, salt, maida and water is added to form a consistency.
Vegetables can be onion, tomatoes, capsicum. These veggies should be cut into small squares. These are only added in that mixture.
A small toothpick is taken for packing the items together.
First the capsicum is inserted. Followed by onion, paneer, tomato and again capsicum. The order can be anything as per our wish.
Finally it is placed on the plates of roti maker. Even cooking is done on all sides for few minutes.
14. Sandwich :
                 Sandwiches are made by forming layers. The layers are bread, cabbage, tomatoes, again bread, egg omelette, coriander and finally bread again. The layers can be according to our wish. This layered item is cooked in roti maker. Handle has to be pressed to cook evenly.
15. Egg scramble :
                  Onions, eggs, chillies have to be beaten in a bowl. Then it is poured on the Roti maker. With a fork or spoon gently mix here and there. Thus small scrambles will be formed. Oil can be added. Within a minute egg scramble is ready.
16. Potato chips
                  Potatoes are made as thin slices. Then it is kept for drying. After drying place it on roti maker. Similar to a pappad it will blow up. Within seconds the chips fry. After which add some chilli powder and salt for taste.
17. Adai :
                 Adai is a traditional food of Tamilnadu. Adai means a flat round structure. This recipe is made with onions, chillies, chilli powder, salt. If needed we can add our favourite vegetables. All that is mixed with rice flour. Maize flour can be added. Some water is poured and mixed evenly. This mixture is flattened round with our own hands. Finally it is cooked in roti maker with oil.
18. Boiled egg masala fry:
                 Eggs are boiled first. Then it is cut into half or even smaller pieces. They are mixed with chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric, salt with water sprinkles. The mixtured eggs are cooked in roti maker. To save time handle can be pressed.
19. Poli:
                  A chapati is also called Poli. Poli is slightly thicker than phulka. Poli contains four layers. The dough is made with wheat or Maize flour. Flatten it and place it on roti maker plate. Then oil is applied after cooking. In many places ghee is added. The poli will remain soft throughout the day. Sweet poli, stuffed poli are the varieties of Poli.
20. Vegetable fry :
                 Vegetables like banana, potatoes, lady's fingers, brinjal, bitter gourd can be fried in roti maker. The mixture is same as a fish fry. Mixed vegetables are cooked in roti maker for few minutes by periodic turning. Oil may be used.
